SAS VS DataStage

Wasn't sure where to post this one - so it got placed here. We have a large DB2 datawarehouse and are currently using SAS to extract and translate the data from the warehouse. I am trying to find statics on whether a conversion to DataStage for the ETL process will produce an increase in run time/ efficiency in resource ustilization etc. We would like to justify a case to move the ETL to DataStage but I must first prove the case with statistics. If anyone has migrated code from SAS to Datastage and has witnessed performance increases - I would greatly like to hear about it.

Thanks
