Re: How to track result data

Hi there,

I didn't quite get your question! What do you mean by track results?
Do you want to view the results of previous runs or you want to view the current execution results?
Anyways, I'll answer both.......

Test Result's page is displayed after executing script.
If its not displayed then follow the instructions mentioned below:

On the QTP screen,
Click on Tools->Options, an 'Options' window is displayed.
Go to Run Tab, and check on 'View results when run session ends." checkbox.
Click on 'Ok' button.

Execute the script once again and now check if the Test results page is displayed.

You can save the results of each run in the script folder(folder which is created after you save a script) itself by checking on 'New run results folder' after u click on 'Run' button.
The results will get saved as Res1, Res2, Res3....... in the scripts folder.

Go to the results page. Click on File-> Open, select the folder location and the result file which you wish to view.

Let me know if u have any doubts on this.

Regards,
Tina Mahajan.
