Help On QTP

I facing so much problem during Automating the test cases.
below i listed these
1. How to display message for particular time then this window get closed automatically.
2. How to use regular Expression for "Result updated for Camera# on ##/##/## ##:##:##"
3. How to handel Exceptions.
