Re: Books on Loadrunner Analysis

No such specific book is there. And the available books have very less tutorial, so do net search and keep eye on and update on load runner. You should set a google alert on keyword "Loadrunner" so that you may get information on any new web information update about loadrunner.

Re: Books on Loadrunner Analysis

Hi,
Load runner just collects the performance information, from vmstat, netstat and iostat for unix and from perfmon for windows. You need not have a great idea about the load runner analysis tool. But you should have a good knowledge of various performance metrics recorded by loadrunner. For getting this take each metric as a seperate topic and do research over that. Then after some hard work you will be able to pinpoint where exactly the problem is while the load test is going on. some monitors you can concentrate on are
1. cpu utilization (%cpuusr, %cpusys, %cpuiow)
2. network utilization
3. queue size (%runocc, runsz).
4. disk utilization
Go through a thorough study on above topics.
