What is difference between micro-organisms & micro pollutants?

One-celled organisms, like viruses, fungi, and bacteria, are Microorganisms and are found everywhere in the world. Some microorganisms are needed for living things to survive and there are more microorganisms, which are harmful and cause diseases. There are microorganisms on all living things we can see inside and on your body that make up our entire body.

Micro pollutants come from countless products in our daily use, plants and material protection products. Lot of Micro pollutants comes from industrial waste, commerce, households and agriculture use like pharmaceuticals, toiletries, X-ray contrast agents, detergents and plant and material protection products often partially enter the aquatic environment.

A microorganism or microbe is an organism which is too small to be seen by the unaided human eye. They are microscopic. The study of microorganisms is called microbiology. Microorganisms include bacteria, fungi, archaea or protists and viruses.

Micro-organism exists internally and can be destroyed at high temperature. It performs multiple functions, it can cause harmful diseases but can also help to enrich the soil. It is a living thing.

Micro pollutant exists externally in aquatic environment, it is industrial waste and can be removed by physical means (unit operation such as filteration, decantation, it is not ecofriendly) it is not microscopic compared when compared with micro-organism
