The ways of communicating is expressed in terms of simplex, duplex... simplex is one way communication...example is ur pager... information s sent by a person by making a call to the nearest exchange..and the people there will send it to the receiver..on the other hand duplexing is communicating both the ways...
Example is telephone..where ppl at both the ends can speak at a time...in half duplexing a single link will b present between the sender and receiver.. at a time only one can speak and the other has to listen...while in full duplexing both can talk simultaneously as two diff links ll b established in this case

Half Duplex:-Only One way Communication,Cable Broad Cast

Full Duplex:- Two way Communication,Telephone Line.
