During installation, we have to check the hardware and software prerequisites...

WEBSPHERE product's installation will b successful only on UNIX flavours and windows xp servicepack2 , windows server... Windows7 will be compatible if it is WAS 6.1.0.29(not sure).. the hard disk space must have 1.5GB, RAM 2GB is recommended....
