I believe, Code Compliance Testing means to test whether the code is following the set of coding standards set prior to coding.

Hi

Compliance testing can be described as a process of checking whether the product is meeting with certain predefined standards prescribed as per certain organization.

Compliance testing is done by the client by itself or by a third party software tester(QA tester). So that it can be unbiased. The standard might be imposed by SEPT , ISO or any other organization.

It is decided by the client , which standard to impose on its product.
