We know audio signals are going be as signals (ac signals are those whose
amplitudes are constantly changing).
The speaker system employs 2 magnets. 1-Electromagnet, 2-Permanant Magnet.
When 2 magnets interact, we know it is subjected to attraction and repulsion.
When the electromagnet's polar orientation switches, so does the direction of
repulsion and attraction. In this way, the alternating current constantly
reverses the magnetic forces between the voice coil and the permanent magnet.
This pushes the cylinder back and forth like a piston. When coil moves, it
pushes and pulls speaker cone and thus sound is produced.
Thus magnets play a vital role in speaker system.
