Format C Drive

Can you format the C drive without any media device? if yes how, and if no why?

C drive can be formatted if it doesnt contain any operating system files, that means no OS is installed in C
If OS is installed in C formatting may lead to system crash

Another way to format is to reboot system and enter the Windows CD and it will ask for formatting but mind it if it contains any OS system it will be deleted.

We cant format C drive if we  use windows but one thing we can do if we need to clean waists  file go to to start menu write disk apply the option of clean medias
