Convert Private IP to Public IP

What do you mean by NAT? How will you convert private IP to public IP?

It can be done in three ways 1st static nat 2nd dynamic nat and the 3rd overload nat (or it can be called as PAT ie Port address translation). 

In static nat : one unregistered ip address can be converted into one registered public ip address ie one to one.
In dynamic nat : one unregistered ip address can be converted into registered ip address from the pool of registered ip address ie one to many
In PAT : MAny unregistered ip address can be convereted into a  single registered ip address ie many to one...
