Just put your OS CD start installation process in this way select repair from your OS CD i386 directory a file is available NTLDR just copy the file to your OS installed drive you can get back to your OS
Connect the HDD of that system on another PC which is running condition and copy NTDLR file from the running system and paste the corrupted os HDD. And then connect the HDD at his original PC and start it.
This problem may occur if the basic input/output system (BIOS) on your computer is outdated or if one or more of the following Windows boot files are missing or damaged:
Ntldr Ntdetect.com Boot.ini
To resolve this issue verify that the BIOS on your computer is current as appropriate to your situation u can solve it by repair this folder in the first repair in Win XP if u know name of his folder ..if u dont know u can repair all files ...
If you get the prompt for NTLDR file missing. I think the best option is to repair your OS from a bootable CD. Select the option to repair and it will copy the ntldr and other files (if any) to your root drive and make the system in working condition.
If you are getting an message that NTLDR file missing Insert the OS cd >>Boot through the cd >> try to boot to the Recovry console by selecting the option R >>You have to know the administrator password>>enter the administrative password >>try to copy the file NTLDR file from the cd to the root directory example: c:/ using the command Copy cd drive letter:/i386N/TLDR C: exsisting location of the file to destination root directory >>restart the computer.
