Mass is a fixed quantity. It remains the same anywhere on earth or moon. But weight is the force with which earth attracts everybody. Weight depends on the position of body on the surface or earth. Numerically weight is acceleration times mass of a body. Moreover mass is measured by LEVER BALANCE while weight is measured by SPRING BALANCE.
