If you are looking for a simple answer, there aren't any!  The two products are dramatically different with few common features and functionalities. I’ve completed several of these conversions and each has had it’s own set of problems. However there are methods to reduce this labor intense process, most of which is manually accomplished. If you are looking for a quick answer then you’re not the person for this type of conversion process. I’d suggest looking to hire a senior IBM/Cognos person with experience.
