report studio is having few options to create reports so we willnot create highlevel reports compare to cognos8

Cognos8 has analysis studio event studio metric studio report net doesnt have it.In report net we can not view multidimensional data. Some new templates of reports added to the cognos8 report studio.

1. In Cognos 8 report studio report table style column body style prompt cache tree prompt are available (added feature).
2.
Very quick response for filter in Cognos 8.
3. Other enhancement in Cognos 8 is gauge chart bipolar chart 100 stacked chart added here.
4.
In query studio conditional formatting is possible advanced filtering is available like AND OR operator

These are the differences between Cognos Reportnet report studio and Cognos 8 report studio:

1.
In Cognos 8 we can use dimensional data for reporting.
2. We can drill through from chart also in
Cognos 8.
3. We can do master details with single query in Cognos 8.
4.
In drill through we have options pass data item value in Cognos 8.
5. One tree prompt was added in
Cognos 8.
6. Bursting is also available in Cognos 8 only.
