A Project with large number of defects doesn't mean that the development was not accurate or it is not developed as per requirements. below is a case when we faced large number of defects

--
we have used crystal report in one of major reporting process in our software development. The progrmming wise reports should generate but it was the alignment and text structure inside the report which caused majority of the defects. Also during integration it created some configuration and data accessability problems.

Project with 80 bugs is very common. Also it depends on the severity of the bug.
