Testing comes under Quality Control. QA is monitoring and improving the process, making sure that any agreed upon standards and procedures are followed.

RE: Testers and Quality Control
i think that tester comes under quality control because work of quality control is in all part of project to control the quality where as qa work is just to check that project is running under international rules or not

RE: Testers and Quality Control
HI

Testing can come under Quality control find the diff between Tester QA and QC with an example given by my sir.

Suppose a examination is going on a class room students r writting the exam one invigilatoris verifying the exam.

Tester: invigilator : As he will be there upto last min of the examination and verify in
the single class room.

QA: Sitting squad: As he will be there upto last min of the examination and verify in

all the class rooms.

QC : Flying Squad: As he will come at any time to any class room and verify whether
examination going on as per the standards.

Here note that examination nothing but Application.

Srinivas

RE: Testers and Quality Control

As my friend said Suppose examination is conducting in a class room Students are writing the exam then invigilator role is just observing the students whether they are following the rules and regulations of the examination or not is called verification. It comes under QA. In this case examiner doesn't bother about the answers to the questions which students are writing. Just he watch the students are not making any copy or not to make disrobing the other students and he sat on proper place allotted to him ect. So examiner sitting squad and flying squad will comes under QA.

Where as validater I mean paper corrector. He doesn’t bother about how the exam was written he just compare the answers written by student with the actual answer. Then he will give rating to the ans. called validation. It comes under QC. Tester comes under QC bcz he is a validater.
