A ship went on a voyage. After it had traveled 180 miles a plane started with 10 times the speed of the ship. Find the distance when they meet from starting point.

Plane moves 10 times faster than boat.  So if boat moved at 10mph, plane would be 100mph.  (Guess and check)  After two hours where would they be?  Boat will have moved 20mi in addition to the 180 for 200mi in total.  Plane will have moved 100x2=200mi.  Therefore the answer would be 200mi.
