What is the exact difference between QTP and RFT ?

QTP has only one platform to develop scripts only in VBScript where as RFT has two platforms - Visual Studio and Eclipse to develop scripts in VB and Java respectively.

In QTP the documentation available is detailed and self explanatory,in RFT documentation is not precise and missing in some cases.

Update mode available in QTP but not in RFT.

QTP uses lite weight scripting language. RFT uses powerful language Java.

Active screen and Tree views are available in QTP and not in RFT.
