RE: What is the procedure of I.C. engine testing?
There is two procedure for engine testing

One for IC engine testing at EOL (End of Line)
another for IC engine testing for Quality assurance.
In 1st testing defects in the engine assembly can find out.

In 2nd testing I.P. B.H.P can test as per design parameter.

There are 2 types of testing
1. Hot testing of IC engine
2. Cold testing of IC engine

We can use any one of them for to find out the defects in the engine assembly
