How are directory names that begin with uppercase letters displayed when the ls command is run in Unix?

RE: How are directory names that begin with uppercase letters displayed when the ls command is run in Unix?
Unix treats the directory names as separate entity so the directories with capitals will be displayed in CAPS itself and this is different to what windows treats to its directories.
