Hi,

Yes the environmental changes will cause errors they can be major also suppose in the application on the dev spot we have tested it only with old version of the database and the client is using the upgradewd version that it can put effect on the output of the current screen there may can be page crashes if the application is not supporting the environment.

so only to overcome this type of errors we go for the system testing where software req+hardware reqmts = system testing
