just deduct 20% from 100 = 80,

again reduce 20% of 80 from 80 = 64,

again subtract 20% of 64 from 64 = 51.2

Ans = 51.2 %

Let us say we have 100 ml of milk initially.

Now each time we increase the volume by adding 20% water to the new solution.

First time we add 20% of 100 ml = 20ml. Now new volume = 120
Next time we add 20% of 120 ml = 24ml . Now new volume = 144
Third time we add 20% of 144ml = 28.8. Now new volume = 172.8.

Now the percentage of milk = 100/172.8*100 = 58.07

The volume of the mixture doesn't change because it is given that milk is getting REPLACED with water....

hence the ans should be 51.2%

Pure milk - 100
20% replaced by water. so, it bcomes 80:20=4:1
again 20% replaced.so, 64:36=2:1
again 20% replaced. so, 51.2:48.8
