How would you determine the performance of a web application by looking at the values of ‘Response Time’ and ‘Pages Per Second’?

Hi

I think as per W3c rules every web page should opened with in 20 secs though it contains large size of data, and system contains slow connection. But in general we considered as a problem is there with page loading if it takes more than 5 secs to load if it contains small data or else not a problem.

  I faced page loading problem mostly working while generating the reports, for this developers has to optimise their SQL queries.
