What is difference between cash and fund?

A financial institution that sells shares to individuals and invests in securities issued by other companies is called fund & we can also define this as reserve of money set aside for some purpose is called fund
 A Prompt payment for goods or services in currency or by check is called a cash or we can also tell money in the form of bills or rupees/coins.

Cash is an asset but fund is liability (Like shareholders fund or Creditors Fund etc.). Fund is greater concept which may or may not be in liquid form where as cash is a liquid asset.

cash doesnot include any credit and kind but fund includes every thing.. money or in the forms of money plus credit and kind.
