Mapplet is a group of transformations, which can be reusable.

If you are reusing the mapplet which contains the Sequence Generator might produce same numbers. It may be typical some times, that is if this mapplet used in same mapping or different mapping and used to generate same numbers may cause for inconsistency.

since mapplet is to reusability so if we include  a sequence generator inside a mapplet.the mapplet which we r going to reuse it for next time the sequence generator properties would be changed.so that we can not recommend it inside a mapplet which gives inproper result set.

This is because we cannot use a Non Reusable Sequence Generator Transformation in a mapplet. Hence we must use a Re usable Sequence Generator. The fact that we reuse mapplets has no bearing over why we should use a reusable SG.
