how to recover if /etc directory deleted, there is no cdrom drive, no network boot or what happened if /etc directory deleted?

The only way is to Restore a Latest Backup

I think you can try this also:

In OBP type the command "boot -ar". This will do the step by step configuration. If any system related file missed in /etc it creates automatically. Try this and reply me. Thanks
