from 1 to 40 there are 37 possible combinations of 4 consecutive numbers.....

we hav to choose 4 numbers from 1 to 40.....

so possible outcomes= 40C4...

thus, required outcome = 37/(40C4)=  1/2470


ANSWER= 1/2470
