RE: What are the types of Sybase index?
Clustered index and Nonclustered indexes are the two type’s index handled by Sybase. In the case of Clustered index the physical and logical order are maintained in the same order by the process of sorting and resorting as required for maintenance of same order. In contrast this is not the case with Nonclustered indexes.
