As per my knowledge, Zero Defect is nothing but.  All the perceptions of the Test Engineer have raised any defect.

I mean that all the test cases derived from the Functional requirement specification have been successfully executed.  No defects were found…

Software that does not have any defects (ie zero bugs) can be called as Zero defect.
Actually speaking, we cannot say a software is a "zero defect" application. Might be,
remaining bugs are undiscovered. Thats all.

So, normally a terminology is used for indicating as no more bugs. That is "Zarro boogs". Means, all the bugs found are closed. thats all. It doesnt mean that there are no bugs. Al the bugs found are closed and no new bugs are discovered.
