Hi

Whenever we connect device to our system(SPARC)  in case if it is not booted after using devfsadm then we should create #touch /reconfigure  file .It will re-read the configuration file after reboot and detect what are the devices connected to system. This mechanism is know Auto-Configuration

Many thanks.
