A man,a women and a child can do a piece of work in 6 days,man can do it in 14 days,women can do it 16 days,and in how many days child can do the same work?

mans work+women+child=1/6
mans 1 days work = 1/14
womens 1 days  work =1/16
child=?
1/6 = 1/4 + 1/16 + child

1/6 = 5/16 + c

1/6 - 5/16 = c

7/48=c

48/7 days or 6.5 days...

let MAN=m,woman=w,child=c.
one day workdone of them m=1/14 , w=1/16 , let work done of c is =1/x.
then 1/14+1/16+1/x=1/6

solving it we get x=22.4 days..
