Defination for TestPlan in IEEE format?
In IEEE format test plan is nothing but overall method of to verify the software meets it's specification & customer satisfaction.

A document describing the scope, approach, resources, and schedule of intended testing activities. It identifies test items, the features to be tested, the testing tasks, who will do each task, and any risks requiring contingency planning. Ref IEEE Std 829.Thanks n Regards,nirmmal

Test Plan: A Software Project Test Plan is a document that describes the Objectives,scope,approach and focus of the software testing effort.
