The 251 scraps will be used to make 22 soaps with remaining 9 scraps. again the 22 soaps will produce 22 scraps. so 22+9=31 scraps which makes 2 soaps with remaining 9 scraps. Again the 2 soaps will produce 2 scraps. so we have 11 scraps which can be used to make 1 soap with 1 scrap as remaining. Therefore totally,22+2+1=25 soaps.

easy solution is: 11 parts - 1 scrap =10
Therefore: 251/10 =25 remains 1.
Ans= 25 because that one cant be useful.

What about the one piece scraps you get from from the 22 you just made? + the 9 remaining, = 31... make another 2 out of those.... 11 and 11 leaves 9 left over... and then you get 2 more scraps from the 2 you just made... 2+9=11... you get one more... 22+2+1=25.
