What is the difference between Testing Requirements in test only projects and Testing Requirements in Testing Phase in SDLC?

HI

Testing poing of view i think there would be no difference, but some internal problems may occured..

-> Co-ordination will be missed between devs and testers
-> If at all any issues found while delivery, the fixes can be done immediately like
     while doing alpha testing
-> Project time will be increased in only testing reqs proj

Correct me if i'm wrong

I think that the question is "Difference between the requirement gathering phases of
independent testing team and testing team as part of development team".
If this is the question then,  In the case of independent testing team, since it acts as separate team, dynamic, frequent changing requirements wont work (as the communication will be more formal) but when testers sit in between developers, the communication is more casual and can have frequent changes in requirements.

I'm very confused as to what you really want to ask.

Let me try to explain based on how much I have understood the question: when you are testing for requirements you may only be doing happy path or positive testing.

In testing phase you are doing other types of testing to make sure integrations, different systems work without any glitches with the main application. Even then you are efforts are indeed focused on the requirements..There will never be a requirement like: make sure the systems work in coordination with each other without any bugs."
