Testing aimed at showing software does not work and it is synomyn to Negative Testing

Testing done by putting dirty data intentionally to record the abnormal behaviour of system or flashing red or yellow messages.

Dirty testing is smoke testing. A quick and dirty test which is not based on any formal test plan or test cases to found out that application is stable enough for further testing.
