1. Stored Programs are the programs which arefrequently used by the system and those are used
   for the same funcitoning.
2. Difference Betwen LAN andnMAN
    LAN : Local Area Network
   It means we can take an example of any company or office which hasthe LAN.
    In LAN there is a server with the helpof which we can access the data from server at any
   node within the organization only, i.e. Local data. It might bewithin a buliding   where as
   MAN :Metropolitan Area Network
   It means we can take anexample of a company having head office at some x place and branch atsome 
    y place in the same/diff. city. wecan access the data remotely from server side i.e. MAN
3.Operating System : It the an interface between the hardware and theuser.
   
4.  Functions performed byO.S. are :
     1. It help to see the filestructure as drive, directory, folders, files wise.
    2. It helps to see the actual memory partition of the hard disk.
    3. It ease the work to use the system i.e. user friendliness.
    4. It supports various softwares which you want to install or run.etc.
5. Types of Operating System are :
   DOS, Microsoft windows 95/97/98/2000/XP, Windows NT, Unix, Linuxetc.
6. Difference between Application Software And SystemSoftware is
    Application Software : It is asoftware which can be installed on the system after having the systemwell
   configured. It is a program which will be donefor the reusability purpose with the help of system.
  Example - We can take the ex. of MS Office Suite. This is developedby microsoft for generic use.
 
    SystemSoftware : It is a software which can be used for the interfacebetween the hardware and the
    user. Example -We can take the example of Operating System. This is used for Userinteraction with
    the hardware i.e. systemsoftware used to get communicate in between user and hardware .
7. DOS :
     Internal Commands  : Thecommands used by system itself at the time of booting, restarting,shut down.
     External Commands : Thecommand used for external use. i.e. md for make a directory, cd forchange
     directory, ren for rename  afile.
