we can use alternate index in esds .same way as you creating aix for ksds. in ksds . in esds you can access through rba but if you create aix u can retrieve records through aix of esds.

yes ,we can use aix in esds, as the same way of creation of aix for ksds.

ESDS is a NonIndexed file. How can we create Alternative index file?. It's not posible to use  AIX for ESDS.

YES!
AIX for ESDS RECSZ = 5 + AIXKL + (n x 4)

Where:
AIXKL is the alternate-key length
n = 1 when UNIQUEKEY is specified
n = the number of data records in the base cluster that contain the same alternate-key value, when NONUNIQUEKEY is specified.
