FUNCTIONAL TESTING means validation of REUIREMENTS MEETING IN BUILD using Black Box Testings techniques such as......Functionality Testing, Input Domain Testing,Recovery Testing, Intersystem (END-TO-END) Testing,Security Testing,Sanitation,Testing,Comparitive Testings. Where as, FUNCTIONALITY TESTING covers GUI ,Error Handling,Input domain,Outputs, Bank-End,Service Level coverages.
