What is Inter-Systems Testing? Can anybody explain it with an example.

Inter system testing also known as end to end testing is coexistence of software application with other existing software to share the resources

ex:at e-seva,from the same system,like electric,telephone,water,bus reservation etc services are carried as it connects to the local database where it retrives information from the respective servers to carry the transactions.
