Divide each consecutive no by 2 i.e 1/2=0.5 0.5/2=0.25 0.25/2=0.125 0.125/1=0.0625

the 8th  term is 108

Because:

lets take the first three terms:

4,12,6

term 4 -->>>  4 * 3 = 12
term 5 -->>>  12 * 3 = 36
term 6 -->>>  6 * 3 = 18

which turns out to be the next 3 terms.

now using 12,36,18

term 7 = 12*3 = 36
term 8 = 36*3 = 108
