SRS:- Software Requirement Specification

SRS are created before the design phase in Software life cycle. Once the analysis Phase in the software life cycle is completed they go for the preperation of SRS. Accordig to the SRS the product will be developed. All the features will be mensioned in the srs.The data type used in each fields , each functionality's, Validations in fields all shots of things will be mensioned in the srs.This is One of the Key material to get full flow of the Product. For a tester one of the key thing is srs. Through which he/she can know the produc which is to be tested. It contains all the requirement which is been implemented in the product. With the help of the SRS Test Scenarios and Test Case are Prepared. The contant in the srs are been numbered. we can cross verify whether we have did 100% of test case coverage using the requirement id which we get from srs and map with the testcase through which we can measure the coverage of testcase in traceability matrix.

 HI,

SRS means software requirement specification, which contains all the customer needs and requirements.  Then application will be developed based on this document first.  Then it will come to validation i.e., testing phase.

Very Important Question n helps d interviewer in identifying whether u r real time software tester or a FAKE.                          Give me a scenario in your project wherein u used all these three testing types : regression testing, retesting and integration testing and also write a few test cases for all these tests.
