In a V model they say, testing is done in each stage.. So whats the testers role when the requirements is recieved and once the design is built.

V&V IS STANDS FOR VALIDATION AND VERIFICATION

IN THE V MODEL WE CAN TEST THE APPLICATION AFTER THE BULIT AFTER THE BUILT THE SYSTEM TESTING WILL START

Hi,

 But in my knowledge V in V Model has nothing to do with Verification & Validation. Its due to the V shape of the flow diagram thta name comes. For the question asked, I think it will be Acceptence test case preparation that will be done in Req phase. Though its V model in each phase the testing work will follow the developer's work only. So from the Requerements you can come up with Acceptance criteria. From Highlevel Design/ Functional spec System test cases etc.,

YES. DEEPA'S ANSWER IS TRUE . IN A NUTSHELL, WE CAN SAY THAT V-MODEL HAS THE TESTING APPROACH ALONG WITH DEVELOPMENT EFFORT. THAT IS EVERY STAGE IN SDLC HAS THE CORESPONDING TESTING STAGE OR STLC. I THINK I CLEARED UR DOUBT..
