Hai,
Application variables and Session Variables r stored in WebServer(IIS) which runs on windows platform.
IIS(Internet Information Services)it is an webserver which process the requests sent by client and sends response to the client.
IIS it holds all web Applications that we create.
asp event handlers are handled in the server.
