Hi Pooja If you don't mind let me describe you.Three quarters of a pound is equal to three quarters of weight of the block. This obviously implies one pound is equal to the block's weight.Regards Francis

The question says:

A Block 3/4 of a block + 3/4 of a pound. Find the weight of a block.

Let the weight of the block be X

therefore X 3/4X + 3/4 Pound

X - 3/4X 3/4 Pound

1/4X 3/4 Pound

X 3/4 * 4 Pound

X 3 Pounds. Weight of a block is 3 Pounds.
