Hi frenzz i had my infy test on 24th sep 2006 in mumbai and i would first like to thnk every1 on this site coz i got good reference frm here...and by God's grace i cleared d test.
My interview was good and now i have my fingers crossed but overall it was good experience.... I was asked d foll qs... 1.Tell us abt ueself. I told abt my family background,education,etc..
2.A puzzle tht was A,B,C r three persons.. A says B is a liar B says A and C r of same type..so wat type is C? A and B either tell complete truth or complete lies.. I tried to ans in mybest way and told them C can be either..u ppl work it out i dunno exact ans..
3.Wat can u use pen for without writing? here they see wat new ideas u hv..I told them I can dismantle d pen use its cylindrical part for blowing air and moving smthng,poking holes,lid can be used for filling very small qty of liquid and i was happy yo ans tht empty refill also could be used as i was taught in school how to make necklace out of it so i descreibed tht and they smiled bak at me and i felt happy coz my ans was a new idea completely!!
4.R u ready to travel coz i hv no siblings? I told yes..
5.Abt my final yr project,team work etc..
Qs i askd were when will i be informed abt d results..they tld 4weeks and do i hv 2 learn anythng new in order to enter infosys..They tld all will be taught to u during training.
So frenz remember work hard solve as many puzzles frm shakuntala devi,prev papers...coz only hardwork is d key to sucess...all d best to all of u.

For the 2nd question here is my answer: 1) Assume A is a truthtelling person. So that makes B a liar. When he says A and C are of same type, then he is lying so both are of different type. So result is C is a liar.
2) Assume A is a liar. So that makes B a truthtelling person. When B says A and C are of same type, then he implies truth. So C is a liar.
Assumptions made: All 3 people has to be either a truthtelling person or a liar. But nobody could be both at anytime.

C must be a liar becuase A says that B is a liar this is true. B states that A and C are of same type. so we come to know that this is a false statement. we already know that A tells the truth and so C must be a liar.
