total number of apples         = 32

less:apples ABCD(1+2+3+4)  = 10

are hold by sisters             = 22

A 1 * 4times                   4

B 2 * 3 times (2*2*2)      8

C 3 * 2 times (3*3)         9

D 4 * 1 time                   4

oops! i think u guys got this one wrong. it says 3 times not 2 to the power 3

well i dunno the right procedure to get this anwer but i was just trying out some combinations of which one wud work.

1+2+3+4= 10 and the others muct total up to 22 thts correct. so a combination of the mutiples of 1,2,3,4 by 1,2,3,4 should total up to 22.

i found A is G's sister

B is H's sister

C is E's sister

and D is F's sister

1+2+3+4+(1*3)+(2*4)+(3*1)+(4*2) = 32 apples

A=1 B=2 C=3 D=4 SO TOTAL APPLES POSSESSED BY A,B,C,D SISTERS IS (1+2+3+4)=10 TOTAL APPLES GIVEN =32 SO LEFT=32-10=22 SO 22 APPLES ARE POSSESSED BY E F G & I GIVEN DAT E=1 TIMES OF ANY SIS =1*C(LET)= 1*3=3 GIVEN DAT F=2 TIMES OF ANY SIS =2*D(LET)= 2*4=8 GIVEN DAT G=3 TIMES OF ANY SIS =3*A(LET)= 3*1=3 GIVEN DAT I=4 TIMES OF ANY SIS =4*B(LET)= 4*2=8 ------ so (3+8+3+8)=22 hence proved as 22+10=32
