Could you specify me how you say that you get rejected in interview only because of your education background? Why I ask this is my friend, though your education background is poor as you stated once you have 7-8 yrs in tech field the interviewer would mostly look for strong knowledge in technical side. Also having reached the interviewer level passing the resume selection I don't think that you get rejected because of your education background .May be your technical skills or communication skills needs improvement for selection.

Hi,

I dont think your educational background would let you down at the time of interview, inspite of healthy experience that you hold currently. The main reason would be due to lack of intepersonal or communication skills. Try to project yourself in a dynamic manner, concentrate more on communication and presentation skills.  This will surely help you from the hiccups.

All the best

Yep man TCS etc have a criteria which says distance education / correspondence courses are not considered !!

That too like I have done my Bsc. in comps sci. from Mumbai university which is same as being in a normal college. Our final exams and board exams are same as all other students has. But dunno why is this discrimination !! especially in Indian companies!!

That too I scores 61% which is supposed to be very decent one still is the same thing. A normal college student with 35% is supposed to be superior than me as far as this criteria is concerned.

Any ways I work for an huge company in IB domain which is not an Indian company.
