Hi, Whether u want to enable (Invoke) the DFF in the Front end Application.if its so then follow the steps.1.Go to the Dff which you want to enable2.keep the mouse pointer on the dff.3.go to the Help-->Diagonast -->Examine4.enter password as APPS5.Note the Title name of the Dff6.switch to the Application Developer.7.go to flexfields--Descriptive--Segments8.Go to Query mode 9.Enter the Dff title name in the Title column10.check out the freeze flexfield definition check box11.compile the form or save the formif u have anymore doubt then mail to gk_gokulkumar@yahoo.com

By using the

FND_FLEX.event('When_new_item_instance') from when_new_item_instance trigger.

if u register the dff column in segment form there will be used one check box called enabled check box instead of that disabled the unchecking the enabled box.if u want required u can used.

Hi If u want to enable (invoke )the Dff in the Application then go through the following steps.1. Go to the corresponding DFF(ex.AR-->transaction)2.Place the mouse pointer on the DFF column3.Go to HELP-->Diagonist-->Examine4.Enter the Password as APPS.5.Note the Title of the DFF.6.Switch to the Application Developer.7.Go to Flexfield-->Descriptive-->segments8.GO to the Query mode9.Enter the DFF title in the Title Column and query it10.Check out the Freeze flerxfield Definition check boxsave or compile the formIf u have any doubt mail to mailatgks@yahoo.co.in
