any computer or system with all applications, installed softwares.roughly if it has hard disk,we can say that is a thick or fat client .

if a  system does not have hard disk, we can call it as a thin client.

In the client/server architecture server needs to have these hard drives and all things.but not the clients.

  with regards,

Hi all?ZABO-Zero Administration Business Object means we dont need to install BO to view the reports. while we open the reports through infoview the server installs the required components to your local machine. we dont need any bomain key etcIn Full Client we can write macrosaddins , has more functions to use ,Better formatting facilities in Full client , we can Data Access Via,Stored Procedures, Free hand SQL, Personal Data files (.txt, .xls, .wk, .prn, .asc)....In Thin Client its just vice versa to Full client pl.let me know if any mistakes.....thank u

1) Zero admini business object

2) Thin client : the web based application which uses a brower from the client is known as thin client , because the installed & serve from the web server

eg : portals, business applications

3) Fat client : the traditional windows based client / server application where every installation has to be done on each client in the network.

eg: client / server ERP solutions
